Volvo has announced that in the year 2020 drivers of their new cars will no longer die or be seriously injured in one of their cars. Volvo's accident avoidance systems will be that advanced.
So, no more Volvos will be turning left into an approaching scooter!

But what about the other driver/rider.? Since I don't own a Volvo, I'm more interested in what happens if one hits ME!

If you're in a 2020 Volvo you won't hit anything. ....including an American on  a scooter. ...thanks to Volvo's anti-collision system.

Don't you mean China. Volvo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding.
