G'day there people.

Question for other Super 8 Owners, are you able to go no hands on your scoot ?

If I do on mine I get crazy bar wobble and have to go hands on within a second.

If you can go no hands what should I look for to fix my scoot ? Wheel balance, forks, sanity ?

Generally speaking the scooters with the steeper head tube angle will be more responsive but more twitchy on the front end. An extreme steep angle would be the forks straight up and down. A slack angle would have the front tire further forward, like on a chopper. I suspect the Super 8 is design to have quicker handling so a steep head tube. Probably why it would feel unstable with no hands. Not a good idea anyway. "Hey Look Ma! No Brains!"  ;)

I can do no hands on a like. Im totally used to but still aint safe and wont do it often.

Good thing I didn't ask about pulling a wheelie too ;)

I guess my question came from more of a basis of the idea that if you can't go no hands is there something wrong with the wheel alignment or forks.

Going one handed is enough hand removal for my liking, and predominantly when I'm at a red light or waving to a pretty girl.  ;)

Hey Tony. You can check to see if there is any looseness in the head tube bearings or if the front tire is out of balance. If both of those are OK, just keep waving at the girls and enjoying the ride man! Have a great day..Paul

My Yager would wobble fiercely with no hands but the DT300i is steady as a rock on rails.
