Title: Headlight bulb seems to blow out too often

This is my 2nd Kymco that I've owned. I owned a 125 for 7 years and put 32,000 miles on it. It seemed that I had to replace the headlight bulb 2-3 times a year. I now own a 2013 50cc and it's doing practically the same thing. Is this common with most people or does anyone have any suggestions to help with this issue. It uses the B35 12v 35/35 w bulb.

Proper psi in front tire?
Rough roads in your area?

make sure you are using elec. greese when you replace a light.

This is due to the poor suspension, small wheels and terrible roads. Replace with a LED bulb, much easier to get hold of now (although you will have to import from China) and will not blow when going over bumps. The sidelights are better with a standard 501 bulb as the bulb holders are not very good and the LED 501 replacements do not fit so well. If you want to fit LED 501 type sidelights as well, replace the holders, the rubber ones allow the terminals to short together.  8)
