..be careful to not damage the float...
-
how would i know if i damaged the float?
what do you mean be careful elaborate please?
and most important how do you fix the float if it gets messed up?
-
...just don't knock it around a lot...i try to not even touch it if i can...
..it's according to how it's damaged, to know how to fix it...
..you'll be OK, just be careful with it...
..it controls the fuel level in the bowl..

son of........................ wrong jet sizes :'(
-
...lemme guess....wrong threads....
-
no worse the jets themselves are half the size of the stock one
-
...do you mean in port diameter??...or in length....
...these jets are for an A50...
-
in length and diameter
-
...will they thread into the holder?
-
already thought of that they don't even come close
-
...i'm pretty sure that Delorto jets will fit the A50...
..that sucks butt dude....
..y' know, you can drill your original jet to whatever diameter you need...
-
..they look like this...
..i actually have a modified Keihin jet in my carb...the threads started...but wouldn't go far...and the head is hexagonal, and was too long...
-
these are filly jets

thought about that but i dont have any bits small enough
-
...you can get'm at any welding supply store near you...
..torch tip cleaners...
-
If you can take your jet to your local bike shop you can compare it with what they have there, I did that with my oko carb jet and it turned out that keihin was the same. (But then I found out that oko is a copy of keihin).
-
..i got mine at a yamaha shop...
..nice lookin' bikes in there...
-
know of any place that ships to the us?
scooter assassin doesn't accept cards issued in the us
-
nevermine found one

just incase anyone else needs it
-
..did you verify that the threads are correct?
-
You are much better off using Provo Scooter. Scooter assassins does take PayPal tho. I use a Debit card, and NO bank info for PayPal. Ever see the site Pay Pal Sucks? NEVER give PayPal your Bank account info.
-
yea i matched it up with the one you posted they are exactly the same
and i will never give paypal my acount info
-
..well, NOW i'm wondering just what manufacturor my jet is from...
..it really don't matter, but i don't wanna be telling ppl sh*t that ain't right... :-\
..was told it was a Keihin, but it looks nothing like those...
..hhhmmm...
-
Keihin uses a couple different jets depending on which model carb it is for. Here's a link: http://keihincarbs.com/parts/jets.html (http://keihincarbs.com/parts/jets.html)
-
...dude, my jets kinda look like the long hex, but not nearly as long...
..it's a moot point...but now i don't know...
-
yay got my 88 jet yesterday ;D
but its going to be a while before i can install it
right now i have 2 options
1. take a day install filter + jet and do plug chops
2. tick off the lady vying for my attention
i dont know which to choose ???
-
Hmm, two schools of thought here, one must choose. The scoot may be happier to wait, (well, that may be the safer option). :-)

It DON"T LIE
-
well i think i may need to majorly up the jet i may even need to run something bigger than 1.0mm
here is the old spark plug with the old jet

here is the new plug new jet

:'( i wanted it to work so bad too
-
Danger, you need to up-jet! That is a fairly lean plug. Your engine probably will not last too long with that current jet in there!
-
yea i set everything back to stock already i may end up needing a jet bigger than zombie's
-
Sounds like time to drill out your jet.
-
Get a set of torch tip cleaners. 10.00, and you will never need to chase another jet. I believe mine is around 140-144. You don't need that one. My pilot is around 50
-
..dark, make small adjustments when changing jet sizes...
..one one-thousandth of an inch is over 2 jet sizes...
