Hey people does anyone know if the wrong spark plug in my a50 2007 would have an effect on performance thanks jamie

The incorrect spark plug will have everything to do with performance!  Could possibly damage the engine if you run too hot of a plug.

if the sparkplug is to cold i will get black and in time the spark will be harder to jump.
If the sparkplug is to hot the fuel/air mixture can self ignite before the spark plug makes a spark and this can my time melt a hole in the piston i think.

Is the sparkplug thread is to long it can hit the top of the piston.

If the sparkplug gab is to big the spark might not jump.
If its to small a gab the spark might to to weak.

I pretty sure the right sparkplug for your scooter is NGK CR7HSA wich is called a standard sparkplug.

If you want to exchange the standard NGK CR7HSA plug with a plug with iridium you can look for NGK CR7HIX or Denso IUF22.

I wanted to use a Denso IUF22 in my Kymco Super 8 (50cc) but i could not find any dealer in my area that could get it.

If you drive short trips in the city and low revs most of the time instead of using a CR7HSA you can use a CR6HSA. This i called a HOT sparkplug and will burn off the black carbon build up more easyly.

If you drive fast and long trips and  high revs you can use a CR8HSA instead. This is called a COLD sparkplug because it trafers heat away from the plug faster.

The answer to your question... yes it will have a performance effect.

Yes, good explanations, Scootergrisen.  Especially the parts about choosing a heat range to match the riding style. 

I recall once reading that the reason for calling them "plug chops" is because in the sport of racing, tuners will actually CUT the spark plug long-ways with a hack saw or band saw in order to view the condition of the whole length of the insulator.

I can get the denso IUF22 but gunna cost me twice the price it worth the difference?   Yes they are. They do increase performance. They also last much longer, as they are self cleaning. (If you have all else set correctly)

I have thought about making a book beacuse in my country there issent any book explaining the scooter in my language.

The Denso IUF22 is more expensive but i have read the you got a little more milages... so the extra cost should in the long run make it cheaper...

Acording to Denso the iridium sparkplug does make the scooter go longer compared to a standard denso plug. Se page 26 :

If you cut the shoulder of the other side, you can take the ceramic piece out and leave the steel piece intact.
