Hmm interesting, I would think there would be a need for a certain amount of back pressure in your exhaust?
What would be the difference in what you did and a performance exhaust?

..ur too kind...but thanx..  ;D

..that "sibi" dude pissed me off the other day...   :-\

..i had to re=jet for this warmer weather..you remember my delima when it started turning cold?

..had to reverse all that, and i had this blown air thing in the back of my mind, and i knew i needed to get more air out...and dang...why not just do it all at one time!!!!

Kimcofan:  i left most of the baffle, and did nothing to the tubes at the end of the muffler...still have sufficient backpressure, i reckon, and the increase in performance was worth the time...

..another FREE performance enhancing mod!!

Can you please take a picture after you welded you muffler back together?
I'd like to see how it looks after the "operation".
I have a Agility 125 City, and something has broken loose in my muffler, and I'm gonna have to get someone to cut it open and weld it back on ( I think it's the C part before the catalytic converter).
I presume the mufflers are basically the same, with some minor differences.

Find yourself a shop that Specializes in welding jeeves, and ask for their best guy. I have a fellow I work QUITE abit with, and he makes machine welds look crude.

..i weld fairly well..this thing was thin, and I welded it back with stainless wire...only burned a cpl of holes I had to fill in...lol..

Stainless wire! On a mig, or a wire feed? I give you credit, as an oxidized piece of stamped steel is one of the toughest things to weld (for me)

..wire feed, gas...yeah, i weld a lot of manganese from time to time in our steel shot blaster at work...it's interior is lined with manganese, which has to be wlded with stainless for abrasive resistance...7018 wire would be blasted away in a cpl of days...
