Hi there, I'm new here, just got my bike in January, and it's only now getting warm enough in DC to take her out for a spin.
The battery lost power in all the cold weather, and I took it out to trickle charge it. Only problem is--I can't get it back into the battery chamber the right way. The instruction manual is in black and white, so I can't tell for sure which wire is "positive" and which one is "negative." One wire is red and one is green.
So my questions are on
- positioning the battery and wires so the plastic in the floorboard goes on without bending, (A pic would be great, if possible)
- is red or green positive?
Thanks! This seems like a great community.

Red is positive, green negative. One wire is usually longer so it will only really go in one way. When you put the cover back on it is usually normal for it to push down on the wires a little.
