Hey, can you showe us how your hitch works???? Love the idea, just need to make the trailer a little "cooler" to suit to style of scooter and your on a winner! What do you use the trailer for?

haveing the trailer look cool is not no big deal to me ,look at the frist pic. I tow my 9.5 ft
blow up boat and fishing gear in it. when I get to the fishing hole you should see the looks I get pulling that out a blowing it up. I have a elc. pump I hook to the scoot to blow it up. just the looks I get is something . this year ill go for the troling motor to go with.

Glad to see someone has tackled this problem!  According to my Kymco dealer there are no trailers available for the Grandvista.  But it looks like your solution would work for me as well.   Is that a bicycle trailer you got there?  And like “topaz6turbo”, could you show us a close up shot of how the trailer hooks up to the scoot?

I'd like a look at that hitch, too, thanks.

How fast do you go down the road with that trailer, and what model scoot is that?

its a agility 50 and I can open it up and go 42 to 45 with it.even down hill going 50 it travles
real good stays right behind the scoot . but to play it safe ill go 35 to 40 most the time.
I well be posting better pic in a day or 2.

I wonder if there are trailers that will do 55-60-ish mph, and what they would cost?

??? I think the trailer is fantastic .You should sell them I have a Question Going that fast wide open .Its only a 49.5 cc how good is that for the engine ? Creates a lot more friction .Just wondering .Yankee . D

it seams to pull fine I dont think frication well happen maybe a little but not enough to hurt anything I go light weight and dont over load. and if I do use it im not going very far.

I am not slamming this trailer but someone mentioned that these are designed to go less than 40 MPH.

Just something to be aware of.

I normaly keep the speed down under 40 when pulling trailer .But I did put better wheel bearings on the tires knowing this just has a safty thing.

My thought was they are utility trailers for use behind riding lawn mowers. Nothing wrong w/ adapting them for the scoot, but low speed, and I'm not so sure how some state troopers would react.

in michigan all we have to have on are scoot if pulling a trailer is a orange flag.
it stands for slow moveing  auto. I have past many troopers and cops so far never been pulled over with it. but I guess theres always thats frist time .

They don't like that around here!  I hate having to constantly be on the lookout when I'm doing the speed limit!!!! :D

..i'm always on th lookout...don't get me wrong....

..guess i was mostly speaking about my daily route to th J.O.B...

..itsa 2-lane, small shoulder road that i've been cruisin for over 2 yrs...

they kind seem to appreciate that i'm not such of a traffic hazard....
