Hi,
I found the following link on how to do the above restrictions. There is a good pic of the CDI cut with the wire showing. Hope this is correct as I will be doing this in a little while  :)

the scooter therapy page is where i found the best pictures for cutting the CDI box. As straight forward as you can get. . .
