Here's a link to some of the 250 Kymco service manuals. The body styles are different but the brake service is exactly the same.    http://www.timtaylor.net/Scooter/Manuals.htm (http://www.timtaylor.net/Scooter/Manuals.htm)

I don't know for certain on your model scoot, but in general you just unbolt the caliper and there is a bolt/pin that runs though a tab in the back of the pads.  Remove the pin and the pads should slide out the bottom. You may need to push the piston back in if the pads are very worn.  You should be able to push it in by hand if you take the cover off the reservoir, not positive on that though.  All in all, changing the pads is very easy!  Once you take the two bolts out of the caliper and get it off it should be easy to see how the pads come out.

It is as shaka said, an easy job. The one thing you will need is a tube of blue lok tite to secure the caliper bolts. Try updating your Java to get the manual downloaded.
