From another scooter I had. On our air filters there is the metal noise reduction plate has anyone removed it with any difference

I have cut open tons of air boxes. The first effect is more intake noise. Some scoots respond better from an open box alone, But yours won't. Opening the box, and going up 2 jet sizes will help with all around response. You may also need to go 1 step hotter on your plug to keep the burn temp. up. You can remove the baffle to get a more grown up tone from your scoot, and that may be enough of a bite to get you into moding the cvt for instant punch. That would be the best place to look for performance gains

Whenever I dwell on something, I become ponderous and unable to engage in small talk until someone resets my timing and dwell angle. Then I become a functioning member of polite society again. (snickering behind hand)

...twist, twist, twist...ratchet, ratchet....
.. ??? how's that ??? ..

Thanks for the twist and ratchet. Things were looking up as I planned a short trip of about 120 miles/170kilometers. Then I woke up to fog and drizzle, slick roads and frustrated drivers locked inside metal cages with wheels. Now I'm back to pondering. And reading posts. Ah winter in S. Texas. Go to sleep clear and nice and wake up to fog and drizzle.

Same here in NW Florida. We get your leftover weather.

Shucks Zombie, sorry about the leftover weather. Next time I'll make it leftover chili.
