You cut untill you see you cut a wire no further take your time!!!
Trust the pictures after it is cut you will see an immediate response in your scoot!

what year is your scooter? mine is a 2009 and the cdi cut is not on the end like what wordsliger said.on the newer agility they moved it more near the plug.don't know exactly where but that what my dealer said. i did the same cut as wordsliger said and it did notting i sill had the rev limiter and could go past 46 with bbk.i just bought a new cdi from http://www.monstergy6.com/product_CDI.htm. (http://www.monstergy6.com/product_CDI.htm.) the DC yellow one fits, that the one i have.

I have an 09 i can tell you where to cut the cdi exactly.  On the side that plugs in to the  opposite end of the plug center of the cdi on the edge of the cdi you cut into the plastic casing about 1/8 to 1/4 inch

Customx22, Are you in the U.S.? The cdi should be the same! Maybe the cut was not deep enough?

i have a 07 plate agility, soo craving to cut it but dont want to go wrong, so cut a slit with a file or sharp knife at the end untill i see a green wire and cut through it, than get on my bike and ride away at 40mph plus :) ?

..no, just cut down 1/4"...you may not see the wire...THEN you're off and running at 42mph...lol...
