Title: Malossi belt
Post by: TroutBum on March 03, 2016, 06:13:17 PM
My dealer installed new belt, rollers and ramp sliders. They replaced the OEM belt which I think is Bendo with a Malossi. Anyone here use Malossi belt on their Like? I know they make excellent performance components for scooters. So far so good with the performance of the belt.

Went to school with a Carboni Malossi....he was a bit of a wise guy.
You should be fine if your scoot doesn't blow up....
Maybe use the remote starter for a couple days?
I'm sticking with the Kymco parts.....Vivo said to.

PS: when you go to bleed the brakes - I'd pop a new brake light switch in there....@ $17.
Be good for a few years.

Guido, the switch replacement is a good idea.

I didn't know until after the facts the shop put a Malossi belt in. Since they no longer sell Kymcos they have to source parts elsewhere. I'll watch it closely, but from what I could find they are supposed to be a great belt.
