Easy... NO. Your own common sense is your limiter. Just watch out for them...

I we are discussing stock 4stroke scoots, the only way to over-rev them would be down 45 % slope. :)

On the flat (level road) with stock set-up it would be tough, but I have seen the things that amazed me.  Basically you want to use your ear as your rev limit.  You can hear when your ringing the poor things neck down a slight grade under wide open throttle as it is just screaming.  That would be a no no.  So just use your common sence and you should be fine.  They are tough little engines.

I was unaware of any restrictions on bikes larger than 50cc here in the US.  I'm assuming you are in another country, so I'm not sure how your particular model is restricted.  On 50cc bikes it is usually done by limiting the RPM via the CDI, a spacer between the variator faces preventing them from fully coming together, and/or a restriction in the exhaust.

AFAIK, there is no such thing as rev limiter on A125 or any other >50 cc Kymco scooter.

just watch out for thr rev police.they are geting more wise on how fast scooter should go.in michigan they should go 30 to 35 but if you get pulled over they can make you take the cycle road test or give you 15 days to get the scoot back to 30 35. not fun.
