Title: Does anyone use the oil drain plug on the side of the case?

When I did the first oil change I used the side drain plug, but now I don't bother prefering to use the oil filter plug at that bottom of the engine case instead. Anyone use the side case oil drain plug?

 I have been draining the oil through tbe side fitting, then remove the bottom fitting to inspect the screen. I feel foolish now. The thought never occured to me to save.a step.

Yes, I use them both ....and always clean the screen (an old habit from VW Beetle days)
I just don't get crazy when tightening things back up....only snug the washer, and the 0 ring.
This ain't an Atlas booster.....things can't be under that much pressure in there.

When my kids finally send me to the Home -  I'll spend the day measuring how much oil comes, out trying all methods. As long as 100% comes out with the screen - I'll pass that on to every scooter rider on my side of the hall.

I do both also. And i clean the screen every time...

With both you can get more oil out... and if you want to add a step i tilt the bike to get even more oil out of the engine. Makes a difference? Nahh! Do i feel it does? Yes!

Brake lever at rest holds in a plunger....pulling the brake levers releases that little plunger and contact continuity is made lighting the brake lights and completing starting electrical circuit.
The amount of force on the lever has no effect on that little plastic switch or its little springloaded plunger....it is all down to the spring of the plunger and quality of contact made or not made using the force of spring Iinside the switch.
Simply...the brake lever operstes a switch thst is either on...or off...depending on position of the brake lever. A very small movement of brake lever opens the plunger....completing the circuit to start and operate brake light.
