With weather like that I would wear a helmet going 15 or even walking speed...

Is that what that is? I was wondering what kind of fashion statement that was...

Helmets! We don't need no stinkin helmets! Personally I wont even ride a bicycle without one.

Won't happen to me syndrome! To many ridders seem to be afflicted with it.

Helmets! We don't need no stinkin helmets! Personally I wont even ride a bicycle without one.

Saw an example today. Being the "cool" uncle, I let  my nephew try my scooter out . He's in the army, and has ridden his sister's small scooter before. He'd only be going about 100 yards up the street. So I didn't make him put the helmet on. He lost control and fell with my scooter before even straightening up on the road. Thankfully his quick army reflexes saved him from hitting his head on the pavement, and only his pride was hurt. But it showed that even at 10-15 mph, you can get hurt if you fall. TEAM HELMET!
