I've tried to do full led light swap over the weekend, headlight is H4 and no problem there, except the handlebar cover is a pain in the rear to pry apart.  Tailight, lol I've taken apart the seat/topcase/body panel and short of removing fuel tank before I realized that there is a little door at the bottom to access the rear tail light!!  would be nice if there is a pic in the service manual.  Anyway, I've ordered 1157 from e-bay and it doesn't fit!  I've looked at my stock bulb, but none of the numbers make sense, does anyone know what type of tail light bulb GT300i uses??!

Once you verify the correct number for the stock bulb, go to either the Superbrite LED, or Vleds site and cross reference the number. Make sure you check the specs to make sure it will fit. I changed most of the bulbs on my 2014 Escape to LED and found different bulbs would fit the socket, but some were longer than stock and would not fit the housing. I did change the taillight on my People 150 when I had it (2010), but can't remember what number I used. Keep us posted as I would like to convert my taillight to LED also.

here is some info I could dig up : PR21/5W 12V 21/5W

Light bulb base: BAW15d                   

Industrial standard part number: 380R

Osram: 7538LDR

Phillips: 12495

these bulbs have a unique base and will not fit in the place of an 1157 or regular Euro-P21/5W. The pins are both indexed and 170 degrees opposite of each other - In other words, this is a BAW15D designated base.

apparently 2008 Focus ST stop light uses it, but no matter how hard I search this, the bulb do not look like ours... part number P567

Might have to cut the pig tail and find a 1157 pigtail to attach to stock wiring....

I did not get the brightest LED, my goal was to reduce wattage use and heat but increase LM just a little bit, so I have a 5w instead of 21w for tail, result:

So I saved 51watt usage off the scooter with much brighter lights to boot :)  Now, on to the Indicator light :)

Okay, found out that the Factory Signal light is a BAU15S base with 2cm opening, you can use the BMW light bulb, but I prefer LED, so I managed to find some and will be installing it when I receive it.  I've also located some Signal mirrors from an old Yamaha, I'll be splicing it with the factory LED running light.  Will post pictures when done.

It's done!  Looks good, LED all around with greater road presents.
