Title: Can't open gas cap

I have a kymco agility 50 2009 few questions I can't get my gas cap off the ignition key won't open aslo anyone have a link for decoding the vin?

Just Google "VIN Decode" There are a number of sites that will tell you what each digit means. At least for the USA.
USA uses 17 digit VIN's
What do you want to find out from the VIN?

If pressing down extra hard on the cap don't work. Try takeing the air line off the petcock and eather suck or blow air in to the tank to release air from the tank and it might open up.

Now that's a dif. story. You may need to take the scoot to a lock smith. Or back to the kymco dealer.

Also need the serial # for the fuel oil filters

Mmmmm  decoating vin numbers .And cat get gas cap off with key..starting to smell fishy.

Nothing fishy my friend gave it to me cause he didn't know how to work on it and I wanted to know how to read the vin cause the only info was that it was a 2009 and I didn't know the specs

And I still can't get the gas cap it probably has bad gas it's been sitting up a while

try spraying WD-40 or carb cleaner on the key and see if that will help free things up.

Well drained the gas out the bottom it was red and ordering a ignition / gas cap off eBay ignition has a short the power is on in off position i don't think that is normal
