My friend ordered this lock from amazon.com I got a chance to look at it and hook it up and I must say it works excellent I live on the third floor of an apartment complex the pager works up to a half a mile away and I am in eye shot of my scooter day and night it's nice and loud outside and inside on the pager I am considering getting one of these since it works so well on this trial basis my friend was nice enough to let me try his at my apartment.

Still thinking alike....
I bought one of these 2 yrs ago. Not cheap but I like it.
Use it along with the brake lever lock.
But try as I might I could not get the alarm to page me when I was in the dentist's chair! (not kidding, I hoped the wind would move the front wheel - even against the steering lock)
I like it - but it is heavy to add under the seat with all the stuff I carry there. I carry enough to rebuild a passable new LIKE200i. The key can be tricky sometimes - setting off the alarm if you don't slide it in just right. I set the alarm off about twice a week trying to get the key in properly at 0'Dark:30. .
The neighbors will testify to this...(the instructions warn you about this key thing)
Wetted the ends of the "U" with WD40 and fitted it into the lock -- made the fit easier.
If your scooter is left outside with a motion alarm on it....I hope you have it chained to something large.
A LIKE200i is easily small enough to load up and haul away - when they come back the second night with a solution for the noisy alarm. (a large wet towel?)
3 floors up - they'll be gone just after you open your apt door.
Some say a locked, scruffy looking cover is a good deterrent.

Yes like minds do think alike Stig and Alex was telling me that has been some improvement on this lock as far as sensitivity goes I mainly want it for the apartment complex here at night and no unfortunately there is nothing large to attach the scooter to and I cover it at night with a black scooter cover and use the grip lock as well and wherever else I go especially to Clearwater Beach I go up there to the outdoor weekend events and sometimes have to park a couple of blocks away that's why I'm looking into a lock with an alarm and a pager I ll see how Alexe's Bully lock works out for him and take it from there
