Hi
I have no clue as how to work on a scooter so I am here to ask for help. I have a friend that know how work on motor cycles though.
I have a 2012 Kymco 'Like' 50cc 2 stroke and I want to spped things up with a new variator pin (I think) and a de-restricted cdi.
Can someone tell me where I can buy these for my scoot please? I see a lot of parts for the People and agility but not the like. Is the engine the same for the People and the Like?
Many Thanks

Not sure what the "People and Like" models are (Kymco uses different names in different countries), but a Kymco 50cc 2-stroke is pretty snappy as it is. If you're stuck at 50km/hr, you can try cutting the CDI as shown in the middle example. Or you can buy a high RPM CDI from Scooter Assassins (as shown), but they're expensive for what you get. If you can do 60km/hr, you're not going to get much more out of it by doing the CDI.

So do I have my friend cut all the wires. That is what it looks like from the pic?
