Title: Steals n deals!
Post by: 2wheelfun on October 10, 2015, 03:33:10 PM
Been putting off over a year the purchase of some riding pants and finally pulled the trigger on a deal for some protection. The reason for the procrastination was the cost of a decent pair. These pants are heavy, I was surprised at the mass. They fit perfect for me, 2X, I got lucky. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/textile_jackets_and_pants/speed_and_strength/urge_overkill_pants.html (http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/textile_jackets_and_pants/speed_and_strength/urge_overkill_pants.html)
For gloves here's a real deal and they're nice for mild to hot weather, $15.00. In areas that matter there is extra protection against road rash.http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/gloves/first_gear/sedona_gloves_2012.html (http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/gloves/first_gear/sedona_gloves_2012.html)

Bracken knee pads from Lowe's garden department are something that you might actually take the time to put on for nearby rides.  The physics of every mishap are different, but initial knee impact protection (not just abrasion) should be a primary consideration.

Let me see....armored riding pants for protection from cars?, or the Taliban, in "Urban Camo" so we can't be seen while riding  on urban streets.
Clever idea?

Bought them in black, camo isn't my style. Protect you from road rash hopefully. Knee armor might save your kneecaps.
