Title: Bike Died for 5 minutes
Post by: Vision on October 07, 2015, 11:12:03 PM
I'm on the way home from a 45 minute drive and while idling at a stop light the bike dies and won't start. I pull it over to the side, it won't start. Check for gas, it's there. Think for a moment about pushing it home then try to start it again and it starts, and am able to drive it the last 1/4 mile home.

Any ideas what happened?

Either vacuum valve fuel shut-off or tank vent.

Thanks, how do you check the tank vent? I've not be able to find it.

You'll probably get 7 different answers for these problems. Drill a small hole in the cap.

What X File said. Had same problem with a Buddy 150 and finally did what he recommended. #60 drill is what I used.
