Hi- I've been lurking for awhile and finally registered. I currently ride a Piaggio bv200. I'm looking to purchase a new scooter this spring or summer and have decided to to go Kymco this time. I've contacted my dealer to find out about the availability and pricing of the 2011 Downtown 300. He will know more in February after the dealer meeting. That scoot really looks like it has it all! The Xciting 250 looks interesting too but I haven't taken the time to research it thoroughly. I hope to learn more and become an active member here.

Thanks for the welcome- I can't find anything wrong with that model. I'm hoping the price is below 5K which is the buzz I'm hearing. That bad boy ought the go pretty good. Even though I love my Piaggio and it's been relatively problem free for 17,000 miles I'm looking forward to owning a Kymco. I have heard nothing but good things about them for a long, long time. Welcome to the forum. The Downtown 300i looks like one great ride. I don't think you will go wrong with the Kymco, I love my X500i.
