That's a 1981 de-badged (in some shots) Yamaha Riva. Seems like they used several in the filming...like all the Herbies.

I know that's how movies are made, but the 2nd photo with the scooters on the trailer.....it's just scooter sacrilege somehow. Poor little strapped down scoots!

By the way, the brown scooter originated here at my dealer, Scooters Of Boise.
