Title: 2007 MXU 500 engine part cross reference

Hello,
I've torn up the internet searching for any other models of ATV that share an engine with the 2007 MXU 500 4x4 but to no avail. I've acquired one that ate a piston and its been quite difficult to find local parts for Kymco. I hear Kymco-made engines and even entire atv's have been rebranded by other atv manufacturers so I was hoping to be able to cross match parts with these "other" brands and rebuild this machine on a budget. Anyone know if this is a pipe dream, or if there actually are other engines I can pull parts off of?

More than likely you will need the parts for that bike, Kymco makes their own engines so won't cross over to Kawi or Yamaha etc. Just call your local (or any) Kymco ATV/ UTV dealer and they can order you parts.

he Kymco Xciting 500 scooter uses the same piston. Would cost the same from a dealer. But you might could find a wrecked Xciting.
