Title: 2014 Like turn signals
Post by: Melikey on August 26, 2015, 12:05:56 AM
I have noticed in photos that some Like 200i modles have handle bar mount front turn signals and others use the flush mount lower turn signals. Why the change and is it possible to use the lower flush mount signals?
It also looks as though some windshields attatch where the handle bar turn signals mount. Is that a after though on the use of these bolts for the later added turn signals?
Thanks in advance for any info...
Also what is the best mid sized windshield you have found for the best price online?

USA regs require those signals on the stalks.....other countries are lucky and get the working flush mount signals.
There is a post DIY in the LIKE200i section on getting these wired up and working.
Can't help on the windscreen questions.....never put one on my LIKE200i.
Welcome to the farm!
Ride it safely, Stig

Like Stig said, they are a USA DOT (Department of Transportation) requirement. The ones on the Like aren't all that bad looking. I've seen some real ugly looking lollipops on some scooters and MC.

Always assumed there might have been some liquor on the table of that Taiwanese conference room.
They were trying for something happy when naming the LIKE.

In the least I'd hook up those dummy lights for running lights.

Can't answer for sure on the Like 200, but on my 50, most aftermarket windshield mounts seem to utilize those bolts from the turn signals. Not too difficult to move the signals down to the body, I did to have access to the space for my windshield and I love having it on there!
