Title: LIKE in the wet on Michelins
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on August 20, 2015, 09:47:14 PM
Wonder how many miles folks are getting on a pair of Michelin City Grips on their LIKE200i's?
I'm pushing 9000 miles on mine (since installed when scoot was pretty new) and the front looks like it has many miles left - the rear is not so wear-free but with many left on it too.
I like these tires for riding on mornings like today. Heavy off & on rains on my way to work....but not so much I couldn't take the long way or stop for a snap with my cell phone.

I use the Michelin Pilot Pure and they do AWESOME in the rain. On my 250 (100lb heavier than a like) I get about 6000 out of the rear, and i tend to just replace the front with it even tho its not close to being worn out. I'm 100% a Michelin man, tel the day I die!!!!

This is good info. I'm still on the original OEM tires that came with the Like. Over 10,000 miles and the front tread and depth are well within spec. The rear tire is now void of tread in the center section with good tread depth remaining on the side. This fall I'm going to get both the front and rear replaced. It's good to know about your results with Michelin. They are my go to brand for my cages.
