Title: Trustyworthy Online Kymco Dealer?
Post by: ScooterLar on August 09, 2015, 06:09:50 PM
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy online Kymco dealer from which to buy OEM parts? I've heard negative things about kymcopartsonline, so I don't want to deal with them. I'd order parts from my local Kymco dealer, but he's over a half hour away and I'd like to avoid all the driving time. I'm specifically looking for the Grand Vista Luxury Seat advertised in the latest Kymco Brochure.

Thanks!

I use Kymco partsmonster several times with good results. Only beef is shipping costs always run around $20.

They don't list any accessories.

I've never seen an online OEM parts house listing Kymco accessories.
You can try their 800 number and ask a human.
Whenever I purchased Kymco accessories for my scooter I had to track down a dealer that could/would obtain them for me.(found one in TX, don't remember the little shop, had to remind him 3x, but eventually he ordered then sent to me...so I paid postage  X2)
Maybe search dealers with 800 numbers in the USA.

When I wanted the carbon fiber look parts that are all over Asia for my DT300 I couldn't find a dealer here who would/could get them. So I went to the source and ordered what I didn't already have from a scooter shop in Tiawan.

I got everything I needed but be aware that freight can be a killer.

I guess I'll try my local Kymco dealer and see if they can order it for me. It'll probably be cheaper in the long run to make the trip down there than to pay exorbitant shipping charges from Taiwan.
