Title: Any possible cylinder damage?

Folks.

My XC500EFI 2010  came to a halt on the side of the highway when I went WOT.
I first noticed that instead of accelerating, it bogged down, and then cut out and coasted to a stop.

My concern is, while the shop indicates crank and associated bearings, will there be possible cylinder/ring damage?

I want to ensure so fixes everything in one go.

Physical inspection, and a compression test are the only things that can answer that question.
If the crank bearings went it is most likely from low oil levels or non existent oil changes.
Have them tell you the compression pressure AFTER they replace the crank. It should be 140 or above to be considered good. 120psi or less, you need an inspection/leakdown test to determine .
