Beautiful scenery and a bunch of great curves - what a fun ride! Thanks for posting!

Always enjoy watching these :) I sit in a cubicle all day at work, I just kind of imagine myself in the seat and put it on full screen (hoping nobody is watching over my shoulder lol)
Wish there were roads around here that were that empty!
Thanks for posting!

As conjested as it is where I live, it's nice the Backroads are many and not well traveled, especially, during the week. Weekends PTWs come out by the 1000s and take to these roads. One of my favorite is just around the block from me that can take me from San Jose to the Pacific Ocean. I can go from a city of a million people to seclusion in just 3 minutes and ride for an hour on twisty country roads through Oak and Redwood forests out to the ocean. It's heaven!

Holy Moly!
All that brown grass. What color are the cows?

Nice video Trout. I used to live in North Monterey county so I know those roads well. One of my faves was the loop through Gilroy out to Watsonville and back home by way of Moss Landing. Lovely ride! :D

nice, and good song!
What route was that, and which lake?
Only roads I am familiar with around that area is Uvas, Metcalf, and San Felipe. There is also a short cut I take from N. San Jose to Mt Hamilton. On occasions, a bunch of us take Uvas to 152 over Mt Madonna into Watsonville, some back roads into Soquel, Old San Jose Hwy, Old Santa Cruz Hwy to 17, back into the valley.
I love these roads we have surrounding the Bay Area!

California is on my bucket list. For some reason, I've never been to the state. Been just about everywhere else. But looks so beautiful there. I'm from Texas where everything is hot and dry, well, for the most part at least. (Besides these torrential flash floods we've been having lately - which prevents me from riding :(....

I'm with you on that ATX. I'd like to ride the length of Cali over about a months time.

It's off McKean/Uvas south of Bailey. Take Oak Glen Ave. to Willow Springs Rd. The reservoir is Chesbro.

Nice vid, Trout! I'm kinda partial to that helmet mount since I drilled holes and mounted a GoPro plate on the lower part of the windscreen- gives very little perspective in comparison to the helmet mount. Good tunes, too!
