Title: What is the license of the scooter?
Post by: lpkocev on June 04, 2015, 07:34:56 PM
Hey kymco maniacs,

I have a question regarding the license of the scooter, as they require it for the plate registration on my name.

Though I don't know what is it? I have a small document stating: Certificate of Conformity, which states that the vehicle can be permanently registered without requiring any firther approvals....

Your help will be really appreciated,

Cheers

Where are you located?  Each state/country is different.  The license is what you need to ride a motor cycle/car legally, your title is what is given to you by the department of motor-vehicles (DMV) after you have registered your scoot (if your state/country requires).  To register your scoot your will need the Certificate of origin, a bill of sale (so you can pay the taxes) and maybe proof of Insurance.  In the USA your registration paper contains a registration sticker that you attach to your license plate.  The registration paper is stored safely on the bike/in the vehicle.

BTW, welcome to the forum.  Please introduce yourself. Thanks.

Thanks for the info! :) It is with German plates, but I want to convert it into belgian or dutch plate. I spoke with the dutch registrators and they tell me to present the license of the scooter. Any idea which document is that? What is certificate of origin? Thanks
