Any one ever tried to turn the original exhaust muffler into a free flowing muffler?

Best way to do that is to cut the muffer in half. Clean out all the stuff in side.sand down good.and weld back together.

You can also drill a series of 1/2" holes around the tailpipe section. It by passes the "guts", and gives it a real nice deep tone. Nothing crazy just nice.
You might have to go up 1-2 jets. A couple of new spark plugs to do a quick check will verify the jetting.

I believe the GTI300's are injected. Will they automatically compensate a little richer if necessary?
