Post by: ScooterLar on June 01, 2015, 04:54:18 PM
Here's a few pics of my People 250, white Grand Vista and my Like 200 LX. Not pictured is my wife's cream color Like 200 and my red GV.

Super pictures - you should contact KYMCO USA & do a brochure, or something.
What a die-hard Kymco family!
Good for you!
Find something that works for you and you like - stay with it!
When I retire I'd like to collect some good running scooters - always wanted a big wheeled scoot. (might not like it afterwards, but would sure like to try one!)
Cool collection.
Thanks for posting - shoot us some more whenever you get to it - pictures of Kymco scooters are a big hit 'round here!

Nice pics and scoots. How did you get the banners and sign? Just ask the dealer for it? I've seen those "flag" streamer/banners before and wanted one for my garage.

I purchased the lighted Kymco sign and the long banner off ebay. The Kymco "pennants" were given to me by a KymcoUSA rep for display at my ride last year.

Pretty cool!
You should retire and just open a scooter repair shop.
I thought about retiring & opening a "LIKE200i valve adjustment and oil change" shop.
But my children expect to eat nearly every day.

I'd love to open my own scooter shop, but I have a nerve disorder that precludes me from doing it. Many years ago before I had this nerve disorder, I used to collect and restore mopeds. I have a garage filled with new old stock and used moped parts, as well as every moped dealer tool imaginable.

Love the look of the Grand Vista and wishing I had picked one up a few years back.  Thanks for sharing.

The Grand Vista is a great bike, but the seat positioning is terrible. I removed the backrest and it's a lot better now, but it's still not really comfortable. I was told the only way to rectify this problem is to do a whole seat reconstruction which would cost a few hundred dollars.

What's your address Lar? Leave the keys in all your scoots this weekend and go on a mini vacation.

Good one....lol.  I do keep the keys in the ignition of all my bikes.

I'm gonna have to do something with my seat. It's terrible on long rides.

Jeffrey, did you cut your seat pan or did you have someone else do it for you?

Thanks!

A fellow traded a white GV in for a '13 or '14 DT300 (I did point out to him that the red Forza sitting across the showroom was the same price as the DT......but he was a Kymco man, never even walked over to sit on the Honda)
A week later I sat on that white GV.....and at 6'3"......even a salesman laughed from across the room at me trying to get on it.
Made for 5'5" Asians or little French guys I guess.
Not to make too fine a point of it, but my-goodness - the 4 fellows who designed each section of that GV never met until the first one came off the assembly line, yes? -  :)
