Title: Adjusting mirrors
Post by: beermak on May 26, 2015, 12:11:56 AM
Is there any way to tighten the mirrors?? They are preaty loose where the mirror gets attached to the arm.
Its like a ball joint and have no clue in how to tighten it and get it firm for a safe riding.
Ill attach a similar pic to show what im talking about..
Thanks!!

Couple of little indents on the shaft near the mirror....wonder if you can put a tool in those 2 holes and turn something to tighten the mirrors.
Mine are very tight, so don't know ---- but that shaft is in 2 parts for a reason I think. Small part near the mirror might turn ?
Some pliers with a rag around that small section of the mirror shaft, and turn??
Stig off to a softball game - will try it when I get home & report.

JB Weld fixes everything! Well for a short while at least! My mirrors do the same thing, I adjust them several times per trip, thinking about scrapping them and getting some aftermarket ones, I always catch myself having to lean my head down because I'm so tall to look out the mirrors!
