Has anyone here ever installed an alarm system on the Agility, or any other scooter for that matter?

the easyist way to get a alarm is to buy a disc brake lock with a alarm,.

Depending on what model alarm system you get, they are pretty plug and play for the most part. Most of them just need battery 12+ and a ground and attach some sensors with double sided tape. Careful if you don't use the bike every day, the alarms do drain power when the key is off.

This is 'essentially' the alarm that I have. Not entirely sure how to install so I was hoping someone with a similar setup could give me some pointers. Also, my battery is under my footboard, and all the attachments are under the plastic cover on top of the head light. I'll need to figure out a way to make the two connect.

I bought a cheap alarm off eBay that you attach directly to the battery, I connected it to the battery and stuck the alarm unit it self to the battery and put the cover over it. The cover dampens the sound a bit but it still does the job. Also came with 2 key fobs. I own the agility city tho not the agility.

I'm with this idea....a nice lock, just wondering will the battery run down at a fast pace on a little 6v scooter battery..........12v

Might be cheaper just to buy a GPS tracker... at least then you'll get your bike back and you'll catch whoever stole it. With an alarm, they'll still steal it if they think they can get away with it.

I have locks for it, just want an alarm for additional deterrent/security.

I got one of those two way alarms, comes with lcd fobs. Supposed to give info up to 100m,but was more like 5m,so tossed it.
The best is the simplest, and now disk lock with alarm is my recommended solution, as no battery drain as a bonus.
Plus my scoot, XC500 weighs so much, it does not get touched by those with evil intent.
I just see folks admiring it on occasion.

Hi I have an Agility RS 125cc which has been converted to a trike.....I purchased a Hawk Alarm system off Ebay.....Mine has Remote Start and Engine Immobiliser in one.....Very good unit according to the Auto Electricians I took it to to have it professionally fitted.... Cost was way more than Alarm itself but they fitted an extra relay so as to stop the problem of Battery Drain...... Worthwhile investment :)
