This one hits a little closer to home:
This is a very small town. Very warm and sunny days have brought out a lot of bikers in the past 5 days.(not seen a scooter in the bunch)
So, Local motorcyclist killed over the W/E and another in critical condition.
3 riders involved - no helmets - after dark - city streets - drinking possibly involved.
Riding friends of son's new in-laws.
"In 2013 there were 133 motorcycle fatalities in Ohio - 43 were not wearing helmets."
And, AAA says 35% of bikers involved in accidents were speeding."
My son is working on his riding buddy to ditch his stealth riding gear - and that liter bike w/ clip-ons.
He enjoyed my son's upright 500 Honda - so I think he might. A revelation for him to find that you can be comfortable riding a motorcycle.

You may or may not know, here in the U.K., many European and other countries, the wearing of protective head gear is enforced by law.
It may appear to some, to be a cissy thing to have to do.
However, none compliance really can be a 'NO BRAINER'.
Sorry!!

Helmets should be mandatory everywhere
