I'm thinking about getting another scooter but wondering which one is better......... the like 200i or the peoples 200s ( both same color, mileage, price, like new condition)...HELPPPPPPPPPPI think people who bought the People have very good things to say about that big wheel and seating set up. The LIKE has a hateful seat and small wheels...other than that it is a great scoot too. People would probably have better resale value. For same price I'd go with the big wheeled People.....was not avail. when I purchased my LIKE200i......always wanted the big wheels. Big wheels provide more stability at speed, take bumps better.
I just wish the people was fuel injected
We don't get any of the really good kymco!!You've said it
Take a bus then ride the S200, 75 miles is no big deal for that scoot. The 200 does have a surprisingly small fuel tank though.
The People S200 does have a smaller tank (1.8 Gallons), but then again most Kymco's do. Hell my GT300i only has 2.4 gallons. I have no problem with that because I never take a trip longer then 70 miles (round trip) I think Kymco stop bringing in the People S200 about 5 years ago.

I want to say 2009 was the last year for the S200. It's funny, the GF and me will fill up at the same time, and we both have the same work commute, the Bet & Win will still be at Full when she is on Empty LOL. B&W almost 3 gallons!!!!
Bettin' I think you're correct (2009) I bought mine new in 2005 in Red. Had a nice Shad 33 liter case on the back & installation was a breeze. It's really too bad Kymco USA is going downhill as of late. I own a SYM HD200 that's only a couple of hundred dollars more & it does blow-away the S200. Dual disc brakes, Water Cooled & @ 15.3HP vs. the old 163cc Kymco @ 12HP. For the money I think the SYM EVO HD200 is the best mid-ranged scooter today for he coin.

I have my eye out for a sym hd200, they don't come up all that often used for sale here. I want to try one out and see wassup. Lots of good press on them. I had one eyeballed but some yahoo jumped on it before yours truly. It was an 09 with 4500 on the clock, $1400 was it's price. Thing was pristine. Same guy has an 08 for $1000 w/14000 on the clock. It's been modified a lot, that's not my cup of tea. I like stock all the way and too many miles for my taste. With that many miles I can see tires, all fluids, water pump, belt, hoses all needing to be changed. Plus when I see/hear the word mod I think abuse off the bat.
