On my 250i when going 110-115 km/h
The engine rpm is 7500 just befor the red line.
Hod do i reduce the rpms at this speed?
Rollers slidera moltivar??

Heavier sliders will improve top speed RPM. But when the variator is maxed out (Around 80mph on my 250) there is nothing you can do to reduce the rpm, because the bike is in it's final gear ratio. The variator is as big as you can go, only a few MM away from the engine case. A slightly larger diameter rear tire will help a little, double check if there is enough room to squeeze that in there. Otherwise, I ride my 250 at 7500-8000 rpm all day long with no problems what so ever. Hope this helps.

They might help a bit, sliders open the variator a little wider allowing higher top speed. Heavier will be lower RPM at any given point UNTIL the variator hits its maximum gear ratio.

23x18 Dr. Pulley sliders. Weight is a personal preference, you should be around 20-24g depending on what you like the feel of. I have 18g on my B&W but I like to to rev up for more power. Keep in mind if you do heavier weights, it will accelerate SLOWER and be slower up hill.

Sorry about that!!! Forgot it was the same 250AFI!!! Those weights are correct, just make sure they are the correct weight you desire.

I would try 25, 28 will be very very heavy for that engine. If you are good with tools, you can get the 28g and then if they don't work use a dremel tool and shave off some of the brass to lighten the weights. Don't you need that acceleration to run from rocket strikes though?

Take your variator cover off and see how high the belt goes on the vaiator, rev the moter up and take a look, just make sure the bike is stable on its center stand,

I don't know what you decided on. But I went with 23g dr. Pulley sliders. That seems to be as much as is practical in order to keep any acceleration even on moderate inclines especially with a new belt.

You are correct. I installed 23 gram dr pulley sliders on my 2009 Xciting 250 in efforts to reduce cruising Rpm. (In hindsight, It actually needed a new belt) . My rpm's decreased at most speeds. Even with the new belt and the sliders, my rpm's at 70-71 mph are around 7500 . I think the variator maxis out around 6500-6800 rpm with the 23 g sliders. But at 65 mph the engine seems much more relaxed than before.
