Urbestfriend has had his 2009 Xciting 250 for about two months now.
Last weekend, he rode to Indianapolis and back. Upon leaving Indy,
he noticed that the gas gauge had not even moved. Concerned,
Urbestfriend stopped at a Gas Station for a fill-up. Lo and behold,
the fill-up was 1.002 gallons after 65 miles of riding in the 65-70 mph range.
I've been riding every day to work (11 miles). One gallon is three
days of round trips to work. This time of year the average morning temp.
is low 30's moving to 55+ on the way home. I'm really happy with this heavy
bike. The ride is smooth and the heavier bike resists the buffeting winds really well.
I've really taken to Kymco's. Also have the 250 Grandvista and 50cc Agility.

have anyone tried riding their Xciting 250 on heavy rain pour? any experience you've got?

Why Yes.....Urbestfriend rode in the rain a few times on this bike.
Happy to report that stability and traction very much improved over
a smaller tire bike. I usually try to follow in the lead vehicle's tracks
as the water is usually squeeged out. However the confidence
factor in water (pooling in center of road) in general is really good. None the Less...Urbestfriend
usually rides home in the rain during daylight. He does not ride in the rain
when he cannot accurately assess the road conditions after dark. If it's nice
in the morning he'll usually bet on the afternoon conditions. It's just plain
easier to ride, then to have my wife bring the truck to work and load it up
if it does rain.
