Finally got the scoot out. Checked the air pressure, oil, and gave it a good wiping. The 500 started first touch, didn't smoke but I could smell the fuel stabilizer. Trip to the station for a fill up of fresh gas. Most of the gravel is now off the roads, but still watching the corners closely. Came across a novice with a new scooter that won't start. Showed her to hold the brake lever to start. Had a cold wind that froze my chin, got to find my balaclava. Oh this year is going to be fun, if it doesn't rain too much.
