I recently bought a used 2012 Kymco UXV 500i. So far I am impressed with the machine. My question is if anyone has any speed tips. I do a lot of gravel road driving and was looking to increase the top speed. Any help would be great.

Did you ever hear of any tips to increase top end speed?

My UXV500i goes about 35 mph with a little left on the throttle. Going faster considering recommended tire pressure and the existing center of gravity does not seem like a good idea. Maybe he figured that out in five years! Har, har!

From my reading they are supposed to top out at 48mph just like my 450i. Keep in mind that engine is cranking 7500 rpm, if you try to go faster, your engine will have a short, very short life !!

Overdrive clutch weights.
