There is a small strainer the size of a larger thimble, that sits inside the oil drain plug along with a spring underneath the engine.
The code for the oil filter strainer is: 15421-107-0000 and the spring for the oil filter strainer 15426-GE1-9200

You don't need to replace anything except the oil.  1 qt as I remember.
With no filter, I would change oil every 1000 miles.

scoot safely,

If you're going to be fiddling with your scooter a lot - (Like me) - you might want to look into buying a manual (on-line, or paper) from www.cyclepedia.com (http://www.cyclepedia.com)
I bought the life-time subscription, and have used it repeatedly with good results.
Pretty sure they list your scoot.
The shop/labor prices of my dealer encouraged me to do a lot of stuff myself. Got all my tools and the manual for about 1 hour labor time.
