where can I find one - normally in pdf format from the net - would be great to have one

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but I use it fequently.
This example is for Xciting 500, 2006. But you can probably find a manual for any Kymco model on this web.
For streaming only. If you have a lap top with mobile Internet it is perfect, e.g. easy to find what you are looking for.
I hope this this will satisfy some of your needs.

Thanks, I was looking for one as well.  This will do.  Looks a lot like what the dealer pulled up on his computer.  ;D
