Title: Squeaking noise

Hello,

My brand new Agility started making a funny noise. It squeaks in short intervals when moving - usually at speeds over 20mph and mostly during acceleration. Sort of sounds like a squeaking hamster. It seems to become less when riding for a while (but I wasn't riding for longer than 15min at a time since it started). The noise makes me believe it comes from the drive belt but it seems to come from the front. Also, when I put the scooter on the center stand and accelerate there is no squeaking. Already visually checked and wiggled all kind of parts to see if anything is loose but just can't find any hint.

Does anybody here have a clue - maybe it's a common Agility problem?

..I would venture to say that any unexplained squeaking on a brand new Agility is not common, and should be referred to the dealer for warranty...

Dealer... It sounds like the front wheel bearing. For whatever reason they are prone to squealing. Try simply pushing the scoot a few feet see if you get it then.

It seems to come from the front wheel. When I turned it today it wasn't turning 100% free and I heard a very quiet squeak. I might bring the scooter to the dealer since it's time for the 1st inspection anyway. Generally I rather avoid dealers. After hours of waiting they will probably tell me this is not covered by the warranty and want to charge me as if the scooter is getting gold plated.
Couldn't it also be the disk brake pads not retracting properly?

the front brake pads will give a squeal. If after the dealer visit it persists, I use "copper" RTV on the BACK of the pads. A THIN film will reduce/ eliminate the noise, You can also remove the mounting bolts and apply aluminum anti seize compound to them, and this will assure all the parts are moving freely. Once in awhile you will get a caliper that is locking up, creating a "drag" on the pads. If this is the case the rotor/pads will be extremely hot after just a short ride.

First thing to check is whether all lube points are adequately greased. You can find them in the manual.
The rest of the suggestions are already made by other guys on the forum.
Probably front disk pads. In most cases the sound goes away by itself.
