Pretty severe there, but your in NH. It's supposed to be brutal up yonder. What are you, 30 miles from the Canadian border? All I can say is better you than me. We can get brutal here in CO but wait a week or so and 50deg and sunny will pop up. Denver is on the same latitude as SF so go figure.

I'm just outside of Bangor,Maine - much worse than NH . Looking at up to two+ feet from Sunday morning to Sunday night . So, that makes 80-100 inches in 18-20 days.     :P

The west needs some of your snow to help end the drought out here. Las Vegas needs Lake Mead to be filled up instead of going down. I don't know what I am gonna do about it being in the mid seventies for the last couple of weeks here. I can't take it anymore. Please send your precip. in the form rain.

What's gonna happen w/ Mead? I saw last year the level was 15 feet from the top of the intakes. It will never make it thru the spring / summer.

Z LV water agency is spending $800 mil to lower the intakes so they can deplete L. Meade down to the mud. LV also wants to run a pipeline from N Nevada so they can deplete the aquifers up there too. Big huge fight in the courts about that one. LV needs to quit stealing others water and live within their means. Here in CO we're going to start taking our full allotment from the CO river that for years we've never done. That water is ours and originates in CO.

That's almost surreal. How could they NOT see this coming.

We have a similar situation right here in Franklin County.
The Apalachicola river begins in Georgia. The river is the only source of fresh water for the bay here, and the oyster-men (aka redneck welfare) depend on that fresh water to help the oysters grow. No water... No growth... No free money.

This is why the Feds. are setting camps up on top of all the major aquifers. They know!
