I'm playing w/ the dogs in shorts, and a long sleeve softball jersey.
I'd chew on the business end of a .45 if I had to live in the cold. NO WAY!

I agree, Dee . Our ride was the truck/Plow. Roads were terrible Wednesday (we got about 22 inches where I am ) and am sure they will be worse tomorrow ( predictions went up to 18+ inches,at Noon news ).
Visibility getting out the drive is interesting with snowbanks right now...imagine come Sunday morning when this storm winds down .
Z-Man, my friend, you ARE a Survivor and would adap tmore quickly than you may think as soon as you hit the Downhill Trails .
Speaking of Downhill, did I tell you what my (new) most favorite Sport to watch ( I wanna try it, too ) is???
Ice CrossDownhill ... look it upon a search engine ! Wheeeeeee !!!! ;D ;D ;D :o

Now THAT'S skating.
We used to use waterski ropes, and beat up hockey skates when the roads got iced in Long Island.
There's a lot to be said for obstacles. Other wise it's all figure skating. Boring.

So- the Today Show is telling me that we will get ANOTHER 12"-18" tomorrow (Groundhog Day ) .
That's three storms with an average of 20" each in 7 days .
Hoping to be able to ride by July :P :P

I always have admired a man who I isn't afraid to say, " I don't know."
Especially when we're in triple canopy & the LT was getting ready to call in some arty and asked the capt reading the map, "where are we, sir?".....and he'd say," I don't know."
So, Karl, never call for arty unless you have a good fix on your position!
You're welcome.

I love your Capt.'s approach... Let LT make the call.
