So will anyone who pays his price for a used one. But, he'll never get that for it. seen new ones going for $2K -flat. Kymcos do a lot of things - but hold their value ain't one of them. Not BB price - but actual $ changing hands price.

I have seen several used Likes priced like that on Craigslist. I just shake my head. They tend to be bikes with low miles and priced as if they are showroom new. Some are listed as priced "firm". The sellers are either dreaming or waiting for the perfect sucker.

A lot of newbies go into scooters thinking Vespa and then are scared away from sticker shock. They think, at least in the US, $2,700 is cheap by comparison and buy.

One example (http://www.scooterwest.com/?popup=quick_item_view&item_id=6260&link_item=false) . . then there is the wobble issue (http://modernvespa.com/forum/wiki-wobble).

I rarely backup piaggio products, buttttttt. I've seen multiple kymco throttle bodies that needed warranty, never a piaggio one. Also, ride ANY People 250 or s250 and let your hands off, friking speed wobble so bad it'll throw you off the bike. Just sayin!
