Saw these Kwik Tec bags on eBay ($56) and then cheaper on Amazon ($45). Wondering if anyone has any experience with them or any other type of saddlebags for smaller scooters. Looking for something to add capacity to store stuff for when I go scooter camping this Spring/Summer/Fall.
Supposed to be able to hold a case of beer. :)

My seat bucket holds a 12 pack, and a bag of ice. I'm only 1/2 drunk by the time I get home so a set of those will fill the bill. Thanks! ::)

Have two sets of them Purple is cheaper and a bit larger (I colored them black with fabric spray and fabric marker).Black looks better, costs more and is a tiny bit smaller. They are coolers and WILL hold a case of beer, plus keep it cool .Great for cold/frozen groceries .
I ride with a stainless steel water bottle.I freeze about 1/2 full of water, then, top it off for longer periods of being out.Keeps cold most of day and is like an ice pack for food/groceries.
I use the smaller ones in my full-sized leather saddlebags as a type of liner . They are 100% waterproof...leather is water resistant , so I know it will keep gloves, sunglasses, extra clothing, etc. dry .
I don't think you can go wrong with them. I've been impressed .

I'm all but ready to purchase these but I've heard of pricing from 15-45 dollars. It must fluctuate and you have to get in at the right time.

Here's a quick unboxing of what I got. Will give a full review once I get a chance to use them a few times this Spring.

Can't mess with my hair. Got none. You could chalk it up though and try getting my noggin in the corner pocket.

I guess he didn't use it yet because I did not see a review

Wkreps needs a trunk for his junk. Pack a lot of stuff in a Givi or a knockoff.

Have used it but only once. Wanted to get another time or two in before giving a final opinion. Should be later this summer.

I wonder if the bags flap around in the 50 mps range ???
-
Not ifstrapsarenot too long. Keep them short enough ( and under the seat) and it's fine .

Just saw this post last week. Ordered a set of the black ones from Motorcycle Superstore and received them today. I think they look great on my Silver GTI300. Thanks for this info.

Post a pic. I see some reviews people say their not that big, but you never know with some people.

Sorry! I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to post decent pics to this forum. Send me your e-mail address and I can send you some very good pics.

They look great and are reasonably priced.
I may have to order them.
Will wait for your full review.
ps: Looking forward to more of your camping vids. That is something I plan to try myself, soon.
I have everything I need for primitive camping in one water proof bag. Can strap on my back seat.

My 2nd scamping trip is in the books and videos are forthcoming. As far as the bags I'll start thinking about a full video review and will post here when done.

What news?

They WILL hold 12 (12 oz.) cans each and are, actually, cooler bags, as well .
