-
Congrats. I can't remember EVER seeing a bad review or comment on that machine!!! Stick around...

Welcome to the forum and you will love the 500Ri. We are gonna need pictures. ;D
-
day one was great - pics coming soon - the white is real pretty!!!
-
I am kinda partial to the white myself. When the 09 X500 first come in to the dealer we went back and pulled the top of the boxes to see the colors and I bought the white one. Added the black shad top box which has white outlined lettering on the sides. Went well with the white scooter.

awwww your in a country that has the "eagle eye" 500ri.... I so wish that was in the USA! (in red lol)
-
tx - It is the 2010 model - brand new here - I am sure on the way to You guys - yeah like the red too - But white in my country is the color to have as we have so much dust
We have 4 bikes, Black, metallic red, silver and white - Black and red shows all the dirt fast.

Just buy the parts! U.S. bikes/.cars/. dot are not as sexxy as the foreign market. If you like the overseas version>>> buy it! I have an '04 zx/super fever that was an american import! Kymco USA Can't get the stock parts I need because the scoot is supposed to be a Canadian/Mexico Import. Guess what? If I had the sexxy winkers, and the cool horn, I would be that much happier. It's the same trouble we have w/ the restrictions on the 50cc scoots. Not to distract from the thread. Kymco puts a cool scoot together. Why can't we all enjoy the full benefit of the style/ performance of what the assemblage can do! Yeah I know!!!! I just feel if I put enough positive comments out there, SOMEONE may care! Maybe it's time for me: last post for zombie

Is the eagle eye front able of being put on the American 500x?
-
I am sure it is possible - maybe expensive??
-
Hi Jan, That's a real nice looking scooter, looks like you been doing some serious riding. I guess I can dream, no harm in that. Regards from Durban RSA.

Hi Jan, I have to say I'm not that surprised that you guys are ex-local, I had an idea when I saw the name. I'm one of those stay at home guys and have never been overseas, went to Swaziland once transported a paraplegic guy cause I used to have a small side business with a mini bus with a special wheelchair lift and all the extras for transporting disabled folk then naturally I did my time in the old time military and was in Angola by kind favour of PW other than that stay at home and ride locally. The kids have been overseas. It's ironic because I used to be a senior manager on the Railways and had a special pass for about 10 years which allowed me to fly once a year to any destination where SAA flew free and I never used it once. I would like to hear a bit about your travels and experiences. So when you are next in the area maybe you can drop in and have a chat. Take care. PS if you need a ride then you welcome to use the X500 just remember it's the older carb model.
