Title: Winterizing your Scooter [video]
Post by: wkreps on January 11, 2015, 02:03:19 PM
Been on hiatus for a while but finally decided to put this vid together. Not in time for us in the Northern side of the planet but in a few months this may help out those on the lower half of this Earth. :)

You're on your "A" game Wayne.

This is why you were missed. Your willingness to help.

If I can add ONE thing... If the bike is in a shed/storage unit or any other quite place... Put a box of Moth Balls on the floor under the scoot.
Mice can create hell over the winter chewing up wires, and hoses.

Great Vid Kreps! Thanks.

My winterizing was much easier.
I just got some coveralls and heated gloves, and keep riding all winter.
As long as there's no ice, I'm good.
As Wayne already knows, the phantom ice already got me a couple weeks ago and ruined my perfect safety record!  ::)

Duke,
I will be extending my riding season this year but I just can't allow my car to sit outside in the winter as there isn't enough room in the garage for the scoot and my car. Need to trade for a sub compact. :)
